TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following Terms and Conditions of Service apply to all products and services provided by InkMonkeys (hereinafter referred to as InkMonkeys) and in the event of any dispute are governed by the laws of Ireland.
All work is carried out by InkMonkeys on the understanding that the client has agreed to our terms and conditions.

ORDER DEADLINE
1. All orders placed before 12:00 (Monday – Friday), will be processed the same working day.

DEPOSIT AND PLACEMENT OF ORDER
1. To avoid delays and keep work on schedule, we require a deposit before starting work. All orders up to €500 (ex VAT) deposit 100%.
2. The 50% deposit of the total quoted amount (above €500 excluding VAT) becomes due immediately once the quote is formally accepted and once a tax invoice has been sent to the client. InkMonkeys accepts cash deposits, electronic transfers, card payments & PayPal payments. InkMonkeys does not accept payment by cheque.
3. No project shall commence until the 50% deposit has been made and confirmed. Should a client cause a delay in the commencement of the project by failing to make deposit within a reasonable time period, InkMonkeys accepts no responsibility should the deadline of the project not be met.
4. The 25% deposit of the total quoted amount becomes due immediately once your order has been finished and ready for installation or 50% deposit of the total quoted amount becomes due immediately once your order is ready for collection
5. The 25% deposit of the total quoted amount becomes due immediately once your order is installed/mounted.

ORDER RESPONSIBILITY
The customer is fully responsible for final proof and layout approval prior to the printing process. Any jobs that have been approved and/or or sent to press cannot be altered or changed due to the nature of the printing process, and no refund will be given. InkMonkeys designs and prints your orders based on the information provided by you. Please ensure that you are entirely happy with the final layout before your order goes into print. InkMonkeys will not be liable for any spelling or content mistakes. We do offer an additional proofreading service provided by a PTC certified proofreader; if you choose not to avail of that service, carefully review the spelling, grammar, layout and design. You are responsible for the approval of all art works and any errors. Your written or emailed approval of any work commissioned by you is contractually binding for payment of design and/or printing services provided by InkMonkeys. Once you have reviewed and approved the design, you will be responsible for the full cost of production, as well as the cost for re-producing a print/order, in case of mistakes or errors being spotted after production.

DESIGN FEE
Charges for design services to be provided by InkMonkeys will be set out in the written estimate or quotation that is provided to the customer. At the time of the customer’s signed acceptance of this estimate or quotation, indicating acceptance of the Terms & Conditions, a non-refundable payment of 50% of the quoted fee will become immediately due.

Unless agreed otherwise with the Client, all design services require an advance payment of a minimum of fifty (50) percent of the project quotation total before the work commences or is supplied to the Client for review. The remaining fifty (50) percent of the project quotation total will be due upon completion of the work prior release of materials.

PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTED
PayPal is simple, convenient way to make payments online and allows you to use your credit card. You do not need a Paypal account to make payments with credit or debit cards.

CANCELLATIONS
You can make cancellations at any time. Please keep in mind that the deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation of orders may be made by e-mail. The client will then be invoiced for all work completed over and above the non-refundable deposit that will have been made at the time of first ordering. The balance of monies due must be paid within 14 days. Please note: any cancellation which is not formally confirmed in writing and received by InkMonkeys within 14 days of such instruction being issued, will be liable for the full quoted cost of the project.

REVISIONS
Each project will specify the number of revisions included. Additional revisions can be made for an hourly rate and will be quoted based on the project. Charges for any additional services requested during the project that are over and above the estimated time or out of scope as per originally briefed, will become fully payable (100% of the quoted amount) at the time of estimate or quotation acceptance. Any extra work that forms as a result of scope creep will be agreed by both parties during the project and must be paid for in full by the client before any artwork files are released.
The customer also agrees that InkMonkeys holds no responsibility for any amendments made by any third party, before or after a design is published.

ABANDONED PROJECTS
Each project has a timeline and an estimated start and completion date. Please respect our timeline and respond in a timely fashion with any revision requests once project has commenced. A project will be considered abandoned if we have not heard from you in 30 days. You will not have any rights to use any of the work that was presented to you, unless the project has been paid in full. If we have not heard from you and you contact us after the 30 day abandonment, a start up fee may apply.

PORTFOLIO AND WEBSITE CREDIT
We reserve the right to add completed projects to our portfolio. If there is a privacy issue involved, please inform us.

COPYRIGHT FOR ARTWORK
Graphic designs created at our studio are custom-created and exclusive to each business. Any concepts that are not chosen and paid for will be a violation of our graphic design rights if they are used elsewhere. Copyright is retained by InkMonkeys on all design work including words, pictures, ideas, visuals and illustrations unless specifically released in writing and after all costs have been settled.
If a choice of designs is presented and one is chosen for your project, only that solution is deemed to be given by us as fulfilling the contract. All other designs remain the property of InkMonkeys, unless specifically agreed in writing.

CONTRACT WITH INKMONKEYS
By entering into a project with InkMonkeys, you are consenting to be bound by the terms of these policies and procedures. Please note that our policies and procedures can be changed or updated at any time without prior notice to you.
